Compriband: Flexible Solution for Perfect Joint Sealing
With our Compriband 40/15-30 mm in black, you significantly improve sealing in your construction project. Whether in window construction, interior finishing, or facades – it provides reliable protection against moisture and drafts. Imagine how much more comfortable your space will be when cold and noise stay outside!
The pre-compressed tape is easy to handle and flexibly adapts to your joint width. Its applications are diverse and include:
- Window construction and interior finishing
- Facade construction, also for natural stone
- ETICS, timber frame construction, and wood and metal construction
- Roof construction, container construction, and noise protection construction
The Compriband comes on a roll with a length of 5m and is designed for joint widths between 15mm and 30mm. It has a considerable cut width of 40mm and can be decompressed to a maximum of approximately 73 mm.

How to determine the correct band dimension?
Proceed as follows when determining the dimensions:
1. Measure the width of the joint to be sealed (at least 8 mm according to the installation instructions).
2. Select the tape dimension so that your measured joint size is optimally in the middle of the application range. Example: Joint width 8 mm → tape width 7–12 mm. This gives you sufficient leeway for natural size changes of the joint.
3. The installation depth must always be greater than the maximum joint width. Joint sealing tapes are constructed according to this principle – for example, dimension 15/7-12: joint width 7–12 mm, installation depth 15 mm. Also consider the surface quality of the joint flanks: For rough or structured surfaces (e.g., plaster), you can use a wider tape with a greater installation depth than for smooth surfaces.
