The pre-compressed joint sealing tape BG2 (300 Pa) made of impregnated foam is used for sealing connections between facade insulation systems and adjacent building components. The sealing tape of building material class BG2 is suitable for creating complex connections (e.g. window sills) due to its special expansion behavior. Temperature resistant from -20 to +60 C°. The driving rain impermeability is only given if the joint width is within the application range (e.g. 2 - 6 mm). In practice, the term "Kompriband" is often used.
