Processing Instructions and Application Information

Clean the surface
Apply adhesive tape (important: do not touch the adhesive surface) and press firmly with a spatula.

Peel off the protective film and press the object firmly into place.
Observe the waiting time; full load capacity after approx. 24 hours.
The mounting surface or mating partner must be dry, dust-free and free of release agents and oils to achieve permanent adhesion. If there are impurities, pre-clean with technical alcohol if possible. Use cleaning cloths for one application only. For tiles and similar surfaces, additional drying with, e.g., a hairdryer is recommended. The optimum processing temperature (adhesive partner and surroundings) is between +15 °C and +30 °C. Mirrors and adhesive tape should be stored at this temperature for 24 hours prior to use. Apply the amount of adhesive tape determined from the following table according to the adhesive pattern (see figures 5 and 6) to the back of the mirror and press firmly. Please note that the maximum length of an adhesive strip must not exceed 50 cm. To check for excessive unevenness at the mounting point, the mirror with the adhesive tape cover should be held against the surface to be glued. After removing the protective cover, the mirror is then pressed firmly onto the mounting point.

Applying the adhesive tape strips: symmetrically in vertical direction
Special note: When gluing, the Technical Guidelines of the Institute of Glazing Crafts of Verlagsanstalt Handwerk GmbH, Düsseldorf No. 11, Edition 2006/11, must be observed. For overhead and inclined gluing, mirror adhesive tapes can only serve as a mounting aid, and mechanical fastening is absolutely necessary.
